Taracközi Elementary School and Kindergarten of the P. Katalin Frangepán Grammar School is a Hungarian-language private institution for children aged 3 to 6 (7). The Taracközi Kindergarten Division opened its doors to children on September 26, 2022. We have one mixed-age group, and the institution’s planned capacity is 30 students.
The aim and principles of our institution are to educate the individual:
– physically healthy and fit;
– creative and resourceful;
– free thinking and creative;
– able to make independent choices;
– proactive and hard-working.
Children learn when they: think, imagine, observe, experiment, make mistakes.
The only scientific and methodological problem our institution focuses on is “preserving and strengthening the child’s physical, mental, and spiritual health through the application of innovative technologies.”
Time flies by unnoticed. It seems that your child has just been born and it is time to decide who will take care of his upbringing – mother, nanny or kindergarten. Doctors, teachers, psychologists and sociologists believe that kindergartens are the best place for children’s overall development. Why is it so important and necessary? Because it is only in kindergarten that children learn: to seek compromises, to defend their interests, to take into account the opinions of others, to communicate with peers and adults.
Kindergarten prepares children for independent life in the future because it is a model of a scaled-down society. Here, a young individual learns to engage in social relationships and solve communication problems. It will be of assistance to them throughout their school years, university, and workplace.
Our institution operates from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Days off are Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

To register your child you need the following:
- a signed application by the parents or close relatives of the family
- medical certificate, which proves that the child is healthy and can attend the kindergarten
- a copy of the child’s birth certificate and vaccination certificate
