Kindergarteners’ Day
Muffin Baking
Kindergarteners’ Day is a special occasion for both children and teachers. This year, we organized exciting activities at our kindergarten to ensure every child had a wonderful time.
The celebration began at 9 a.m. The teachers decorated the room with colorful balloons and cheerful decorations to create a festive atmosphere. There was dancing, poetry, music and lots of laughter.
Afterward, the children, together with their parents, decorated muffins that they had baked the day before with their teachers.
Kindergarteners’ Day was a true celebration, bringing joyful experiences not only for the children but also for the teachers and parents. Everyone went home happily, filled with beautiful memories and experiences. We can’t wait for next year to celebrate together again!
World Animal Day
World Animal Day is a special occasion at our kindergarten each year, providing children the chance to learn about animals and how to care for them.
The teachers decorated the classroom with various animal-themed decorations, creating a cheerful atmosphere right from the moment the children entered. Each child brought along a favorite animal toy to introduce to the others.
The first activity was an interesting storytelling session, where the teacher chose stories featuring animals.
Next came a craft activity, where the children made animal masks. They created their own animals using colorful paper, paint and glue. The children enthusiastically shared stories about their favorite animals and discussed ways to protect them.
World Animal Day at our kindergarten was a true success, filled with joy and learning.
The Day of Hungarian Folk Tales
The Day of Hungarian Folk Tales is a special event in kindergartens, aimed at preserving the love and traditions of Hungarian folk tales. Kindergartens typically celebrate this day with colorful programs to introduce children to the world of tales in an enjoyable way.
During the day, the children watched the story of The Wolf and the Seven Young Goats, then acted it out together. This was not only entertaining but also a great opportunity for them to express their creativity and share a memorable experience.
For this occasion, Natália Gál, a member of the Transcarpathian Regional Hungarian Drama Theatre, visited our institution. The children had the opportunity to watch the folk tale play titled “The Little Swineherd”.
International Music Day
On International Music Day, children get to explore the world of music and experience its magic.
The teachers and the music instructor displayed colorful musical instruments and decorations. The first activity was a group music session, where the children had the chance to try out various instruments. With the guidance of their teachers, everyone eagerly played the instruments, transforming the group into a real orchestra.
After that, there was a singing session. As they sang together, the young learners also learned the lyrics of the songs and enthusiastically danced to the rhythm.
The Day of Hungarian Folk Games
We celebrated the Day of Hungarian Folk Games in the kindergarten, where the children were introduced to traditional games and customs. Our kindergarteners sang folk songs together, learned nursery rhymes, and played folk games. Through these shared activities, the children not only had fun but also learned the importance of teamwork and friendship.
Golden Autumn
The traditional autumn festival in kindergartens is a wonderful opportunity for children to become acquainted with Hungarian folk traditions, customs, and the colors and flavors of autumn. This year’s celebration took place in the kindergarten hall, where colorful decorations added to the event’s special atmosphere.
During the program, the children dressed in folk costumes, recited autumn poems, played traditional folk games, sang folk songs, and danced to folk tunes like “Lipem lopom a szőlőt” and “Érik a szőlő.”
The traditional autumn festival provided a vibrant and enriching experience, helping the children appreciate and preserve these traditions.
Táncház
Today brought another special experience for the children at our kindergarten, as the Csipkés band visited us to treat the little ones to an authentic táncház. They enchanted both the children and teachers with live music, instrumental demonstrations and folk tunes.
During the táncház, the children were able to explore the traditions of Hungarian folk music and dance up close.
The program was further enriched by Boglárka Botos, who taught and entertained the children with folk games. They played various traditional games under her guidance, which not only provided fun but also helped them develop their focus, sense of rhythm, and fostered shared community experiences.
International Day of Older Persons
October 1st is the International Day of Older Persons, and we commemorated this occasion in our kindergarten. We believe it’s important for even the youngest children to understand the significance of respecting older adults and fostering intergenerational connections.
Throughout the morning, the children excitedly prepared their gifts: colorful drawings, handmade cards, and small crafts, which they later presented to their grandparents and elderly community members.
