The Kiralyhaza Elementary School of the P. Frangepán Grammer School
A P. Frangepán Katalin Gimnázium Királyházai Elemi Iskolája
The institution is located in Királyháza, next to the Reformed Church. The opening ceremony took place on June 9, 2023. The kindergarten building and its rooms have been renovated to modern standards and aesthetically redecorated with new furniture. The children are welcomed by beautiful developmental toys, thematic visual aids, storybooks and a storytelling corner. There is a well-maintained yard and playground next to the building. In the green area, a beautiful, large, spacious summer pavilion awaits the kindergarteners, where they can play happily even in rainy and gloomy weather.
In our kindergarten, a mixed-age group will operate, welcoming children aged 3-6(7) with both Hungarian and Ukrainian language skills. The group can accommodate a maximum of 15 children. Our goal is the development and education of kindergarten-aged children to preserve our native language, culture, Hungarian customs and holidays, as well as to provide an opportunity for language learning for those who are not native Hungarian speakers. The kindergartens gradually expand their vocabulary, gain new experiences, and have fun in a friendly atmosphere through playful activities. They learn songs, poems, nursery rhymes, listen to stories, and prepare for holidays together.
In our kindergarten, children are cared for by a professionally trained kindergarten teacher who is fluent in Hungarian and Ukrainian at a native speaker level. She strives to provide comprehensive and harmonious education in all areas for her students.
Our institution provides daily 10-hour kindergarten services from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (according to Kiev time). During this time, children receive three meals: breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.
